Since 2014, Dwight Global Online School has offered its students an academically rigorous program that includes an Advanced Placement track, as well as an individualized course of study option–both of which lead to a high school diploma.
Now the private, online, fully accredited Dwight Global is proud to additionally offer students the opportunity to pursue the highly respected International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
Dwight Global’s online IB is a natural extension of Dwight School’s long-standing pedagogical mission and philosophy throughout its worldwide network, including its flagship New York City campus and its schools in London, Seoul, Shanghai, and Dubai.
Recognized internationally as a highly challenging academic program — the “gold standard” in pre-university preparation — the IB provides the ideal academic framework for educating global problem-solvers. The IB Diploma Program mirrors Dwight’s core goals for students: to become lifelong learners and to think critically, creatively, ethically, and globally. Beginning in grade 7, Dwight Global introduces students to an inquiry-based curriculum, where students are encouraged to collaborate, think critically and independently, and apply their knowledge to the world around them. As Dwight Global students advance through school, they take on more challenging coursework and become more independent and dynamic thinkers. In grade 10, students may choose to place into AP courses. In grade 11, Dwight Global students now have an additional option in the IB Diploma Program.
