Why Students Choose the IBCP?

In Grades 11 and 12, besides the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Prem Tinsulanonda International School in Chiang Mai Thailand offers the option of the IB Career-related Programmes (IBCP) in Art and Design, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship or Information Technology, alongside the school’s own high school diploma, which is accredited by the NEASC.

What is the IBCP?

The IB Career-related Programme is a qualification that allows students to follow career-related courses that suit the local context as well as the passions, expertise and interests of the students involved. The IBCP runs parallel to the Diploma Programme and students at Prem choose two or more IBDP subjects, a career qualification, as well as a core group of courses similar to that of the DP.

Through the continued development of academic skills plus related competencies the IBCP provides a sound basis for higher education, lifelong learning, flexibility in future employment and effective participation in the changing workplace.
