Despite school campus being closed for most of the months leading up to the end of 2021, our students, parents and staff didn’t let that deter them from working together to bring positive change to the local community.
From August to September, through various outreach activities such as fundraising and food distribution; Regents volunteered 11 hours, collected 4,635 necessary goods and raised $8,900 to help the less fortunate within the local area who had been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of Nord Anglia Education’s collaboration with UNICEF, we worked with the aim to support the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with the top goal addressed being Goal 2 – Zero Hunger.
Charity activities at Regents are facilitated by Share A Dream; an online platform that has been designed exclusively to engage Nord Anglia Education schools, student and teachers in outreach activities. The platform helps to enable the good work happening in the school community and gives students and teachers the power to effect positive, lasting change.
Collectively, Nord Anglia Schools around the world volunteered more than 55,000 hours and raised nearly US$800,000 for charity in 2021.
At Regents, our vision is to inspire students to achieve academic excellence together with a sense of adventure and the compassion to make the world a better place. All year round, students at Regents are encouraged to work on social impact projects on a local, national and global scale. Along with changing the world, our students develop creativity, resilience and teamwork skills; skills that will help them grow up to become successful individuals later on in life.
