KIS Empowers Student-led Service

Korea International School values service. KIS empowers students to connect with their community and apply their learning to meaningful projects. This spring student-led service projects include an audiobook production of a children’s book collaboration with other international schools, multigrade sessions on recognizing and addressing ableism in Korea, and a birdhouse building workshop. The scope and reach of each project varies by design. Authentic service experiences develop from deep understanding of  community needs and potential solutions. KIS students learn to apply their knowledge and skills to serve their communities.
