Academic Excellence at Ermitage International School-Outstanding 2025 Exam Results

Ermitage International School students once again passed their exams with flying colors, demonstrating their commitment and the quality of the teaching provided. The French Diplôme National du Brevet and Baccalauréat recorded a 100% pass rate, with a large majority of students earning honours, while the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma cohort reached a remarkable 95% pass rate, with the highest average grade in three years.

IB students celebrate highest scores in three years

International Baccalaureate Diploma students achieved an excellent pass rate of 95%, with an average score of 34,1 points (vs world average of 30,6 points). This is the highest average grade in the past three years.

Of the 38 graduates, 8 students achieved more than 40 points (including a top score of 44/45), 32 achieved at least 30 points, and 23% obtained a bilingual diploma.

Outstanding results for French Bilingual Curriculum Students

In the French Diplôme National du Brevet (lower secondary school diploma), students achieved a 100% pass rate. All of the 97 students obtained a distinction, with 71% earning the Highest Honour, and 35 students received the jury’s congratulations.

The results for the French Baccalaureate are just as remarkable: 100% pass rate, 94% with distinction, including 27 students with highest honour, 40 with high honour, and 20 with honours. This class marks the fourteenth consecutive year, since 2012, with a 100% pass rate.

All students enrolled in the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (BFI) passed the exam, maintaining a 100% pass rate since the programme was introduced at Ermitage International School in 2003.

These results illustrate the academic excellence of the Ermitage community and reflect the attentive support, the demanding and caring pedagogical framework, and the constant commitment of teachers, students and their families.

Both graduates of IB and French Baccalaureate will go on to study at top higher education institutions in France and worldwide such as Polytechnique (France), University of Pennsylvania (USA), Boston College, Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (Switzerland), or University of Edinburgh (UK), to name just a few.
