We are delighted to announce that Virtus College has received an ALPS certificate, recognizing our A-Level results as placing us in the top 1% of schools worldwide, based on the progress of each student! ALPS collects data from hundreds of thousands of students across British schools offering A-Levels, measuring the journey each student has undertaken—from their GCSE grades at the start of the course to their final A-Level outcomes. This metric, known as Value Added, reflects the true impact of a school on its students’ academic progress.
True progress is achieved when students exceed expectations, with their final A-Level results surpassing what they were statistically predicted to achieve based on their GCSE grades.
