Unleashing Creativity and Innovation: G10 IB MYP Personal Project Exhibition

SSIS transformed into a vibrant showcase of innovation and inquiry as we host the G10 IB MYP Personal Project Exhibition. This annual event is a culmination of the Middle Years Programme, providing a platform for Grade 10 students to present their unique projects, each a showcase of their learning and personal interests.

This year’s exhibition features an impressive array of projects that span across various themes and disciplines, highlighting our students’ commitment to addressing real-world problems through academic research and creative problem-solving. Noteworthy among the projects is the use of 3D modeling fantasy world construction, original musical compositions, and the development of sustainable bioplastics, reflecting the technological prowess and artistic talents within our student body.

Each project is intricately linked to global contexts such as health and well-being, scientific and technological innovation, and socio-economic development. For instance, one student has engineered a DIY air purifier to tackle indoor air pollution—a testament to our school’s emphasis on scientific inquiry and environmental awareness. Another has explored the healing power of music, creating compositions that seek to enhance sports performance through psychological uplift.

This exhibition is not just a display of final products but a celebration of the learning journey. Students have navigated challenges such as designing eye recovery exercises, conducting extensive literature reviews in science, and even distinguishing between clinical and behavioral patterns in health sciences.

As our school continues to foster a culture of curiosity and resilience, the Personal Project Exhibition stands as a beacon of student achievement and creativity. We invite parents, teachers, and students to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our students and to take part in interacting with each of the students about their successes and challenges during the process with their Personal Project!
