Our Virtus students launched last month by diving into the demanding UKMT International Mathematics Competition, where they put their problem-solving abilities and mathematical knowledge to the test.
This competition offers students a chance to engage in diverse and stimulating maths activities, all while enhancing their teamwork and communication skills.
This year around 700,000 students took part in the various levels of the challenge: junior, international and Senior.
Around 8% of entrants are awarded Gold worldwide, with Silver being awarded to 13% of entrants and a bronze to 21%.
It is our absolute pleasure to recognise the fantastic achievement of our students who were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates- recognising their outstanding mathematical abilities and divergent thinking.
