The Greene’s scholarship competition

The 2021-2022 topic: ‘Sustainability’

What is the scholarship?

This year Greene’s is pleased to announce a new competitive scholarship on the subject of ‘Sustainability’. This scholarship offers a 30% reduction on full tuition fees for a three-subject A level course. The scholarship is available to students who will commence their full-time studies at Greene’s in the academic year 2022 – 2023.

Unlike our general academic scholarships, this scholarship recognises outstanding achievement within the sphere of climate change mitigation – whether it be renewable energy, urban design, fashion, economics, business, health & nutrition, forestry, law, politics, media or any other relevant field – over and above any other academic requirement.

How do I apply?

Step 1: Step 1: Completion of online application and Personal Statement. Extended deadline: March 3rd 2022 no later than 11:59 a.m. Please click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Step 2: You must submit an essay, or video, on how you are making a positive impact in your community by leading on sustainability.

Submissions must be in English and submitted in Microsoft Word and PDF format. The essay must be between 1000 and 2000 words.

If you submit a video, specifications include:

  • Video length must be a maximum of 3 minutes;
  • File type: MOV, MP4, OGG or WEBM;
  • Style or form: Videos could be in any style or form (e.g., a short film, animation, documentary or any combination);

You do not have to appear on screen in the video yourself, and you may also submit your video as part of a group, so your friends and family can be involved. We are not looking for filmmaking or acting skills, but instead how you approach the question and what your ambitions to lead on sustainability are.

Winners will be announced by March 5th 2022.
