Our mathematics department has been collaborating with the University of Warwick, one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious institutions renowned for its expertise in mathematics. This partnership focuses on extending and enhancing the mathematical abilities of our most advanced students.
Over the past months, students at The Global College have actively participated in online courses, led by candidates from Warwick’s Mathematics program. These experiences have enabled our students to refine their skills, expand their knowledge, and deepen their understanding. This preparation not only equips them to tackle the challenges presented in the IB Math Program but also gives them an advantage when applying to math programs in different institutions.
Furthermore, during the previous term, we had the privilege of hosting a Warwick student as a Mathematician in Residence. This initiative offered our most enthusiastic math students a unique opportunity to learn about his experience in university and chosen career path.
