A team of six creative students from year 9 and 10 prepared a brilliant display for the event on the theme of ‘British Innovation’ that showcased the life and achievements of Thomas Telford; a renowned British engineer, architect and stonemason, noted particularly for his landmark works near to Shrewsbury in the UK.

Before the 1,000 invited guests arrived, The British Ambassador, His Excellency Mr Brian Davidson, met with the students and talked with them about their display; a fittingly creative tribute to Telford, and exhibiting a quality of work that our own ambassadors should be very proud of!
