Students at The British international School Abu Dhabi are celebrating after receiving their long-awaited IGCSE results.
Students have achieved incredible results with 58% of all grades obtained at grade A or better. This significantly exceeds the UK average of 21%. Across all examinations, 96% were at grades A*-C compared to the UK average of 67%. Students of all interests and abilities have been able to demonstrate success across the whole range of subjects.

With so many students achieving so highly at IGCSE, this bodes very well for even greater success, as these students now begin studying their International Baccalaureate programme at the school.
The continued success in IGCSE is a testament of The British International School Abu Dhabi’s high academic standards, excellent teaching and the hard work and dedication of students. Students continue to significantly outperform UK national averages, with attainment levels increasing year-on-year.
These IGCSE results follow fantastic results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, in which students achieved the highest graduating results in school history. Students achieved a pass rate of 98%, well above the global average of 77.4% last year. The average point score of 35 was higher than the IB global average of 29.9 points, firmly placing The British International School Abu Dhabi alongside the leading international schools not only in the UAE, but worldwide.
