At Leysin American School in Switzerland, innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship are foundational to our academic and extracurricular programming. In the 2025-2026 academic year, we are thrilled to be on the cutting edge of curriculum by offering our students the Entrepreneurial Program for Innovators and Changemakers (EPIC) program, created in collaboration with Babson College, the top-ranked US college for entrepreneurship. This partnership provides students exclusive access to Babson’s cutting-edge methodologies, industry insights, and expert mentorship. By engaging with EPIC’s experiential learning approach, students gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, opportunity recognition, and venture creation, preparing them to lead with innovation and impact.
The Babson EPIC curriculum is just one part of a comprehensive new focus on entrepreneurship: Changemakers at LAS.
The key components of the Changemakers at LAS program include:
- Case Studies: Curated for high school students but inspired by best practices from business schools, these case studies encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world decision-making.
- Simulations: Designed to mimic real-world social and professional scenarios, these simulations provide opportunities for students to practice actionable skills, refine strategies, and embrace creativity and innovation in a low-risk environment.
- Global Competitions and Challenges: Embedded in coursework and extracurricular activities, these experiences allow students to tackle real-world briefs and test themselves against their peers on a global stage.
- Partnerships: In line with key learning objectives, students will have access to pursuing certificates for college credit, and exposure to thought leadership through our speaker series.
By blending traditional academics with innovative programming, the Changemakers at LAS program builds an entrepreneurial mindset by encouraging students to engage with real-world challenges, fostering critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and communication.
At Leysin American School, we proudly prepare students to tackle global challenges with compassion and a global perspective. Through Changemakers at LAS, experiential workshops, and cutting-edge technology, students develop critical thinking, creativity, and decision-making skills that will equip them to be compassionate, innovative leaders who will make a positive impact on the world.
