Students are taught in live classroom lessons over Zoom by our highly qualified teaching team. Lessons are scheduled at weekly times, and classes are kept small to create a more personalised learning approach with 10 or fewer students per class. Students are also provided with a range of additional learning materials, including homework assignments, worksheets, textbooks, and revision materials to support them in their education.
Teachers provide ongoing feedback and support tailored to the learning requirements of their students to help them excel in their learning. Students can also easily get in contact with their teachers to ask any questions they have and get support with tasks they may be struggling with.
How do students access learning materials?
Students access all of their learning materials through our online learning platform. This platform provides a hub for everything students need while learning with us. Students can access their timetable, homework, classroom access links, on-demand materials, and more through the platform. This makes it easy for students to see when their next lesson is and when their assignments are due.
What if I can’t attend my lessons live?
If students are unable to attend their lessons live, they can choose to watch it on demand at a more suitable time. Our online school records all of our live classes, so it makes it easy for students to catch up at a time that suits them. On-demand lesson recordings are available 24/7 on our online learning platform.
Students should still let their teacher know if they will be unable to attend their lesson and the reason for their absence unless they have notified the school that they won’t be attending any of the lessons live.
How do I sit exams?
Our online school does not provide an exam centre as this would be inconvenient for our students to access. Students can sit their IGCSE and A-level exams through a centre local to them. As we do not provide the exams, our fees do not include the additional cost of exams. Exam costs will be dependent on your chosen exam centre. When looking for a centre local to you, make sure they take private candidates and that they offer exams for the subjects you want to take.
How are students supported?
Our online school provides personalised support and guidance to our students to help them excel in their studies. We provide career guidance so that students can feel confident in their subject choices and understand how to achieve their future goals. Teachers also provide ongoing support throughout their learning with additional learning materials and tailored feedback to help students determine any areas they need to work on before sitting their exams. Students can contact their teachers for further guidance outside of lessons so they can feel confident in their knowledge and understanding. The help desk is also available to help students with any concerns or issues.
