Highlighting our commitment to developing top-tier players, 6 players from BISP Tennis Academy, Pine, Tarita, Leia, Jinnipa, Puthi and Pao, competed at the Thai Nationals in the Under 14 and Under 16 categories. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and skill of our players and reinforces BISP’s position as a leading tennis academy in Thailand. Throughout the next few months, we will be following these young athletes’ journeys and supporting them as they continue to ignite their passion.

BISP Parent Tennis Trip to Melbourne During the Australian Open
In a unique initiative, BISP Tennis Academy Director Gill Lemore took parents on a tennis trip to Melbourne during the Australian Open from January 13th to 18th. The trip included intensive coaching sessions, a social tournament, and the opportunity to watch top-quality matches at the Rod Laver Arena. The success of this trip suggests it will become an annual event for BISP parents during the Australian Open.
Asian Pacific Elite U14 Tournament in Melbourne
Dharma and Tarita, two outstanding players from BISP, were invited to the prestigious Asian Pacific Elite U14 Tournament held in Melbourne during the second week of the Australian Open. Competing on a professional stage with empires, line judges, and ball boys, the two BISP students showcased exceptional talent. Although both players reached the quarter-finals, they secured an impressive 5th place in the tournament, a testament to their skill and dedication. Congratulations to Dharma and Tarita for proudly representing BISP and Thailand in this international tournament.
At the same time, BISP student Jinnipa was invited to the Singha Grand Slam experience in Australia during the 1st week of the Australian Open. This camp was designed to give the students an opportunity to practise and to demonstrate what each tennis player is capable of.
Tennis Trip for Girls from Seisen International School
From December 11th to 15th, 2023, BISP Tennis Academy hosted a groundbreaking tennis trip for nine girls from Seisen International School based in Tokyo, Japan. Led by BISP Tennis Academy Director Gill Lemore and Coach Robin Vercaemer, the girls experienced the unique BISP coaching methodology, engaging in fitness training, coaching sessions, matchplay with BISP Tennis Academy players, and even friendly matches with parents. The trip fostered a deep connection, and we hope this marks the beginning of a long-term partnership and friendship between BISP and Seisen.
An email from Seisen’s Athletic Director expressed immense gratitude, acknowledging the phenomenal experience provided by BISP. The success of this event has opened doors for potential future collaborations with other top schools in Tokyo and we hope that this will expand the opportunities for players in our Tennis Academy to further develop and gain exposure and experience as they interact with players from across the region.
