A Winter in Motion – the first Winter Camp in the beautiful Engadine

This year Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz organised its first international Winter Camp. The camp combined language learning with different winter activities. The students from Switzerland, Vietnam, Russia, Brazil and Estonia (10 to 15 years of age) joined the camp for one or two weeks in December and January. They chose between learning English or German and spent the rest of the day engaged in different winter activities like skiing/snowboarding, skating, snow biking, sledging, cross-country skiing and Avalanche training. The participants and members of staff agreed unanimously: It was a unique way of learning a language and getting the best of what the beautiful Swiss Alps can offer during the winter.
