September marked a number of key benchmarks in the development of our school. As you will have seen from our Twitter feed, Principal, Ben Keeling, spent a few days towards the end of the month in the UK. Meeting with prospective teaching staff, he returned feeling positive about the progress made.
“We met some incredible teachers,” he shared. “I am very much looking forward to introducing the selected group to our community over the coming months.”
Hosted at Kingsland House in Shropshire, candidates were given the opportunity to explore the incredible surroundings of Shrewsbury School as their induction to the great history of the school began.
The trip also provided an opportunity to further develop a series of relationships that will support a fluid transition into Shrewsbury School for parents keen to explore boarding options. Visits to both Abberley Hall and Packwood Haugh provided fantastic insight into the very best Preparatory experiences available. “I feel hugely grateful to both schools for their time in hosting these visits. Both provide a broad curriculum through full weekly provision. In exploring the development of school partnerships on behalf of our parent community, we simply couldn’t have found better pathways,” Mr Keeling explained.
