Greene’s College Oxford has profoundly transformed Rohan’s academic prospects after a challenging final year of school, thanks to the personalised support and one-on-one tutoring that the institution is renowned for.
Rohan’s academic struggles were primarily due to health conditions linked to his mental well-being, significantly impacting his A level performance. “I struggled a lot with my final year of school,” Rohan shared. The large class sizes and lack of individual attention in his previous school made it difficult for him to thrive.
Seeking a solution, Rohan discovered Greene’s College. Reflecting on his decision to retake his A levels, Rohan said, “I believed in myself and Greene’s did too.”
At Greene’s College, the one-on-one tutoring and smaller class sizes provided Rohan with the tailored support he needed. “A tutor is essentially tailoring the way you learn to give you the best levels of progress,” he explained.
Rohan’s transformation is evident in his academic achievements. His geography grades improved from U’s in his mocks to A’s, and his A level business grades went from D’s to an A.
Greene’s College also helped Rohan prepare for internship interviews. “I’ve been prepped by Holly, who gave me interview questions, helped me research firms, and taught me how to dress and speak,” Rohan said, “That, along with the one-to-one learning, has let me be who I am now. I achieve really well and get on job interviews, which not many know how to do at ages 18 or 19.”
Rohan’s story highlights the impact of tailored learning environments, enabling students like him to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
