How are A-levels studied online?

Students aged 16 to 18 can study A-levels online through our virtual sixth form. Lessons are fully online-based and accessible from anywhere with an internet connection, making it easy for students to access their education internationally. Pupils are taught in live classrooms over Zoom, with a maximum of 10 students per lesson. This creates a personalised learning approach, allowing students to engage, interact, and receive tailored support and feedback.

Students can choose to study part-time or full-time through our online sixth form, depending on how many subjects they are looking to study. Full-time A-level students typically study 3 to 4 subjects to work towards moving onto higher education or beginning their career after they finish school.

How many subjects should I study?

As mentioned previously, full-time students typically study 3 to 4 A-level subjects. However, the number of subjects studied is entirely up to the student and their learning preferences and future goals. Students usually need 3 A-level qualifications to progress to higher education, but a fourth qualification can also help them to stand out from the competition.

If students are more interested in starting their career straight after they finish sixth form, we still recommend studying 3 to 4 subjects to help them stand out from other job applicants. We always strive to help students decide on the best learning approach to suit them and their needs. Our online sixth form offers a wide variety of subjects to choose from to help students achieve their goals and excel in their future endeavours.

What resources are A-level students provided with?

In addition to live classroom lessons, students are provided access to our online learning platform. This is a hub for everything students need while learning with us, including homework assignments, calendar events, and on-demand lesson recordings.

On-demand lesson recordings are incredibly useful for revision and reflection on the key information covered in class. This is especially important for A-level students as they can watch previous lessons on demand to refresh their memory and revisit important topics before their exams.

Closer to the exam period, teachers also set mock exam papers for students to complete so they can test their knowledge and identify any areas to work on. This is important for ensuring students get the best grades possible in their A-level exams. Teachers also consistently provide tailored feedback and support to help A-level pupils understand what areas to focus on and what topics they need to recap before their exams.

What are the fees for studying A-levels online?

Our online sixth form fees vary depending on the number of subjects you are interested in studying. We recommend getting in touch or heading over to our website for further pricing information.
