At The British International School Abu Dhabi, our students achieve outstanding IGCSE results. In this year’s examinations, one in three grades (33%) of our students was awarded at the world-class level of 9-8, demonstrating our students’ outstanding ability to excel. Additionally, half of all grades (50%) achieved were at 9-7, highlighting the remarkable academic achievements of our students.
An impressive 91% of all grades awarded fell between 9-4, showcasing the strong academic foundation provided at our school. This success not only underscores the academic excellence of our students but also reflects their dedication, perseverance, and resilience.
Further enhancing our pride, we are pleased to report a Value-Added Score of +1. This signifies that our students, regardless of their starting point, made exceptional progress, reflecting the inclusivity and personalised learning support offered at BIS Abu Dhabi.
At our school, we believe in offering a pathway for every child, ensuring that each student can thrive and achieve more than they ever imagined possible. This year, 112 of our students completed their IGCSE exams, with many now continuing their academic journey by enrolling in our IBDP Programme or pursuing a more vocational pathway through BTECs in Business, IT, or Sport for Years 12 and 13.
Among our top performers are Diana Vasile, who achieved an extraordinary nine grade 9s, and Salma Nounou and Alexander Guirguis, both of whom earned an impressive eight grade 9s.
