Nestled in the heart of Vienna, AMADEUS Vienna Early Years Centre is a truly international kindergarten that welcomes families and children (3-5 years old) from all over the world. While English is the language of instruction, the centre celebrates each child’s unique background, fostering an environment where diversity is embraced, and every culture is cherished.
An Inspiring Approach to Learning
The AMADEUS Early Years Centre adopts the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), blending it with the inspiring Reggio Emilia approach. This dynamic combination fosters a child-centred approach, where every child’s curiosity is encouraged, and learning is driven by questions and exploration. Students are given the opportunity to foster independence through a daily programme filled with hands-on learning and activities. The classroom environment is designed to spark imagination and facilitate creativity and independent thinking, allowing young minds to thrive and express themselves.
Parents as Partners in Learning
At AMADEUS Vienna, education is a team effort. Parents are active participants in their child’s learning journey, with regular updates and special events like Parent-Teacher evenings and Student-Led Conferences. Families are also invited to take part in celebrations and community activities, strengthening the bond between home and School.
Led by Passionate Educators
With highly qualified and dedicated teachers, AMADEUS Early Years Centre provides a safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment. Students develop the skills, confidence and curiosity they need to thrive, not just in School but in life.
AMADEUS Festival Vienna: Family & Fun Day
To further enhance the holistic approach, the AMADEUS Festival Vienna introduced Family & Fun Day, an event designed to foster curiosity, engagement, and a love for learning in a joyful, interactive environment. Held on the School campus, the day offers various outdoor and indoor activities, including robotics workshops, bouncy castles, face painting, magician shows, and dance performances. These experiences not only bring families together but also reinforce the Early Years’ emphasis on experiential learning, creativity, and social development. It’s no surprise that this event has become a favourite among parents, students, and the entire AMADEUS community.
For parents seeking a happy, engaging, and internationally minded start to their child’s education, AMADEUS Early Years Centre is more than a kindergarten. It’s a place where lifelong learning begins.
