Le Régent College is a British International boarding and day school in the Swiss Alps town of Crans-Montana, for children aged 4-18.
WE AIM TO
- Produce well-rounded, internationally-minded young men and women, through a rigorous approach to teaching and learning
- Teach our students to value cultural differences, through the dynamics of the school’s multi-cultural environment
- Help our pupils to become caring and compassionate young people by expecting them to embrace and reflect on the school’s four founding principles: Courtesy, Compassion, Creativity and Courage
- Shape up our students into knowledgeable, industrious, and caring young people who are confident that they can create a better world, and are equipped to do so
- Provide our future graduates with all the skills and qualifications they will need to enter tomorrow’s fiercely competitive job market
- Leave a lasting impression on our students so they feel the need, in their adult lives, to emulate the impact we, as a school, made on them.
The British National Curriculum is taught to Reception – Year 11, leading to GCSE and IGSCE, followed by the International Baccalaureate syllabus in the last two years of secondary school. In our Bilingual Infant School, pupils aged 4 to 7 are taught in both English and French.
Our curriculum is designed around our four founding principles (COURTESY, COMPASSION, CREATIVITY and COURAGE) because we don’t just teach but we educate our students. It promotes critical thinking and creativity while providing the competencies necessary for lifelong learning and holistic development.
Our rich extra-curricular programme is designed to provide students with opportunities to challenge themselves and experience a wide range of different activities. It is part and parcel of the education we offer and reinforces our core values.
Our first aim is to ensure that all our students are well-cared for so that they live a happy and fulfilled life and are confident that they will find the help and support they might need at any time. Successes are always celebrated and when things go wrong, children are guided in the right direction so that mistakes become learning experiences.

My children receive an outstanding education in a safe and nurturing environment. The school has encouraged my children to grow in confidence enabling them to thrive in all aspects of their life.
We noticed that, since the school opened in 2015, the quality of teaching has a very high level! Students enjoy every day the time they spend at school. The school offers a wide choice of activities so children have to possibility to improve themselves in many fields and learn how the work in team, to create and consolidate relationships! The school helps daily families giving them the possibility to put their children boarding even for one day in case of need! We are very happy to be part of this great school located in this great and wonderful ski area!!!
The school programme is truly enriching, going far beyond what I had expected - forest school, skiing, hiking and ski touring expeditions, golf, numerous after school and weekend programmes, school drama and music performances to name just a few - meaning that there is never a dull moment for my children! It has been incredible as a parent to see just how much they have thrived since joining Le Régent.
The four C’s (compassion, creativity, courage and courtesy) that make up the school’s guiding principles aren’t just words they dreamt up for marketing purposes - as a parent it is easy to see them being enacted daily as an integral part of school life.
Le Régent Collège is not only providing my children with a first class education in the classroom, but more importantly it teaches them the bigger picture - stewardship of the wonderful natural environment they are blessed enough to live in; an appreciation for the cultural diversity of the world we live in and the global community the school is already creating within its walls; and recognition of the values of giving back to society and helping those in need through their active involvement in various charitable initiatives.
My family swapped big city life for a need to get back to nature and focus on the values we felt were important to instill in our children whilst they were still young. The opportunity to live in this incredible setting with the benefits of an excellent school on our doorstep was worth the leap of faith we made in making the move. We definitely haven’t regretted a minute!
