Parent and Student Reviews
- September, 2025Karl and I just wish we have discovered your school much earlier. We would like to reiterate from parents who have sent our daughter to a private school all her life, Elea High has given her the most valuable and enriched environment to study. The first thing Grace has mentioned to us is how all the teachers spoke to her like an adult with respect instead of treating her like a little child. This made her feel she is worthy and made her feel comfortable in engaging. This is something she said she never experienced in her old school! Private schools may have all the fancy facilities and traditional values but what your school offered is what’s important in school life – respect and the right environment!Show more
- My daughter transferred to the US Performance Academy her Junior year for the flexibility and support it offered. She is a prospective D1 athlete and needed a high school where she could customize her academics around her training and competition schedule. We found her teachers, learning coach and college counselor to all be exceptional. They were always available when she needed them. They consistently went above and beyond for her. In addition since my daughter has dyslexia, the support she received for her accommodations through their GOAL program was outstanding. USPA was the only private online school we found which offered support for her dyslexia.Show more
- My kids and I couldn’t be happier with USPA! Both my kids started USPA in middle school and have thrived. The ability for them to have their own individual schedules has been a life-saver with their hockey schedules. In addition, my daughter is enrolled in their amazing GOAL Program and receives an abundance of academic and other resources. Seeing her demonstrate her learning in creative means, on her own, is so fulfilling. All the staff at USPA have been incredibly supportive and we have seen only constant improvements, benefiting the students over the past 4 years. Thank you USPA!Show more
- We are so thankful for USPA! My oldest is finishing his 3rd year with USPA. My youngest is in the goal program for neurodivergent learners and we are beyond happy about it! Pascale and Carrie are two of the sweetest people/teachers we have ever had! My son is learning more than in a public school classroom and his confidence has soared! Adam and Chris are also two teachers that have really reached my boys. Both my boys have had the privilege of having them and both of their experiences have been wonderful! The communication between student and teacher is far better than we have ever had in a public school system! Our family is very thankful!Show more
- We could not be happier with our experience at USPA, especially the GOALS program. They took the time to understand our son’s academic abilities and recognize his intelligence and capacity. Supports were tailored to his needs and his schedule. He grew so much as a student during his time at USPA. This program provided our son the opportunity to work at his own pace, work to mastery, and self-advocate. He is graduating with the academic and time management skills he needs to be successful in his future studies and beyond. Thank you, USPA!Show more
- Studying GCSE Biology at Highgrove has honestly been one of the most valuable parts of my time here. The course is well-structured, and it really helped me build a clear understanding of key topics without feeling overwhelmed:) What I appreciated most was how everything was explained in a way that actually made sense. I could quicker take on harder topics thanks to Ms.Yerbury!
Ms. Yerbury is an amazing teacher, she is always patient, organised. Her lessons made complicated topics lot more manageable;)Show more - MEO is an amazing online school. It is affordable, well run and has helped my sons improve in their respective subjects. 100% recommend to parents that are fed up with school and actually want their kids to learn something.Show more
- What impresses me most about Elea High is the school’s attentiveness to the individual needs of the student. From my first meeting with David and Catherine Lewis (the principal and director respectively) it was clear that the well being of their students was their primary concern. My daughter has now been with the school for almost a year and whenever I have any concerns about her progress or need to share information about events at home which may be affecting her ability to participate in her lessons, David and Catherine are always available to listen and accommodate her needs as best as possible. My daughter is neurodivergent and unable to access mainstream education, however her confidence has grown enormously since studying at Elea High. Small class sizes ensure she is able to ask questions when she needs to and she feels accepted and valued by her teachers and fellow students alike. I cannot emphasise enough how grateful I am to Elea High for there respectful and open minded approach to education.Show more
- As a parent, I was initially unsure about choosing an online school for my child, but Palm Global Academy has exceeded my expectations in every way. The academy offers an outstanding blend of academic excellence and Islamic values, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education from the comfort of their homes. The teachers are highly qualified, engaging, and truly invested in each student’s success. They make learning interactive and enjoyable, keeping students motivated and involved. The structured yet flexible approach allows my child to learn at a comfortable pace without compromising on quality. One of the biggest advantages of Palm Global Academy is how well it integrates Islamic studies with a strong academic curriculum. My child is not only excelling in subjects like Maths, English, and Science but also developing a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings, Quran, and character building. The early Friday finish for Jummah is a fantastic feature that reflects the academy’s commitment to faith-based learning. The online platform is user-friendly and well-organised, making it easy for both students and parents to navigate. Communication from the school is excellent, with regular updates and support available whenever needed.I highly recommend Palm Global Academy to any parent looking for a flexible, high-quality, and faith-centred online education for their child. It has truly been a game-changer for us, providing the perfect balance between academic success and spiritual growth.Show more
- Our daughter has been with King IH for 5 years since year 3. She is has aspects of Autism, OCD, ADD and the schedule and way of learning has brought stability, calmness and eased the negative symptoms of her conditions. She can focus without distraction and concentrate on creative subjects like film studies and music which she loves. There are no teachers shouting or attempting to control a noisy classroom and no bullies either. Teachers do what they do best, teach and the kids are given the space to learn and interact. There is support, after school clubs and healthy community. Having homeschooled for a year, online school has improved our family relationships, allowed us to work from home and be secure that our girl is receiving a top notch education. Would highly recommend.Show more
- February, 2025A work move to Tokyo meant we had to make some tough decisions on A Level education for our son. Shopping around it was clear there was a plethora of distance learning providers, but Wolsey Hall seemed to stand out. We plumped for them, based upon their references and we were not disappointed; in fact we were delighted. Our son enrolled for three A Levels and it was clear from day one that Wolsey Hall were attentive, rigorous, disciplined and a delight for him to deal with. Feedback from the coursework was fast, comprehensive and very personalised, his tutors always accessible and delight to deal with, providing excellent exam preparation. The administration of the books, coursework, lesson plans and other issues was spot-on. Wolsey Hall has our strongest recommendation and they have our fulsome praise and thanks for their efforts; he passed all three with great grading and will start University this year. My Son wears his Wolsey Hall sweatshirt with pride, they are very much his Alma Mater. Delighted!Show more
- February, 2025We had a very disappointing experience enrolling our son and daughter with a Germany based home school.
I found out about Wolsey Hall through a parent in Namibia. I was a bit anxious to approach the school and try and get my son enrolled. The very first contact and every other contact and communication we have had with the school has just been amazing. Everyone at the school is so super friendly and helpful, always offering assistance and checking that all is good. We felt right at home and welcome! It was so easy to enroll and get started, friendly support all the way!
The educational level is top quality which will open doors worldwide and the material and curriculum is very modern, up-to-date with the current times and user/child friendly. My son enjoys the learning process and is thriving. The positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement he receives from the school boosts his willingness to do his best and enhances his educational development in so many ways. We will not look back! After trying out two modules, we will enroll him for all his subjects. Our daughter will follow this year still and in a few years our third child will be enrolled too.
They have figured everything out to make it a very pleasant and smooth experience. From how payments can be made to the material being shipped, it all works quickly and with ease. I wish I could have done my school journey at Wolsey Hall as a pupil.Show more
