If you or someone in your family is attending school in the USA, it’s essential to be aware of the school holidays. The academic year in the USA generally consists of 180 school days for K-6, typically from early autumn to early summer. However, colleges and universities may have shorter years. School holidays, also known as vacations, breaks, or recess, refer to the periods during which schools are closed.

Each state in the USA follows its school calendar, determined by the respective school districts. Therefore, it’s best to check individual school websites for updated information.
