Parent and Student Reviews

  • We have been part of ISZL for 17 years, and our children have absolutely loved their time here. Two of them have graduated with superb IB educations and were accepted into excellent universities. They formed lifelong friendships and remain connected with their peers across the globe. ISZL has taught them to think critically and to be self-starters — skills that are truly invaluable in today’s complex world. We wholeheartedly recommend ISZL.

  • Both of our children have attended ISZL for the last 9 years. They have been so happy during their time at this exceptional school, making friendships that will last a lifetime and benefiting from a curriculum which is second to none. As parents, we have been especially pleased with the high standard of education and nurturing nature of the teachers, who truly care about their students. We have every confidence that as they go onto higher education, the foundation that ISZL has provided will serve them well.

  • Our son joined the school 3 years ago and every year we have been impressed by the academic rigour in a friendly, family-oriented environment. Our son is really engaged with his studies, which is no doubt a result of being in a small class where he receives a lot of individual attention and personalized learning opportunities. We are particularly impressed by the high caliber of teachers: each of them bringing passion and innovative teaching techniques into the classroom, making every lesson captivating and interesting. Our son is eager to participate in many extracurricular activities such as computer or drama clubs and enjoys being part of a global community. He really cannot wait to go to school and that makes us really happy!

  • I joined ISCS five years ago and have since earned IGCSEs and As-Level qualifications. I particularly enjoy the family feel of the school: a combination of small classes, dedicated teachers and friends from all over world. I enjoy being a member of the Student-led NGO and working on a community project as part of the ISCS Leadership Programme. Last year, I took part in the student exchange programme at our sister school in Spain, where I had the opportunity to practice Spanish and make new friends, while following the same curriculum as ISCS. In the future I would like to study in the USA. However, I still can’t decide between engineering or medicine.

  • I really like coming to school. My favourite subject is PE and maths. The teachers are very nice and they make learning fun. School is never boring! There are many clubs after school – I particularly enjoy football and computer science. I like wearing the school uniform – it makes us a team!

  • I really enjoy working at ISCS. It is a vibrant community of students, parents and teachers. I particularly enjoy listening to my students sharing their own cultural and international perspectives on issues we discuss in the class. In my role as an active Head of School, I am responsible for delivering outstanding level of teaching, combined with providing enriching and meaningful extra curricular activities. In addition, I ensure all the staff continue their professional development, which I find is key in delivering engaging and innovative lessons for our students. ISCS is an exciting place to work as we receive a lot of support and encouragement from peers, the leadership team and the parent community. It is definitely a school where one can bring a new idea or an innovative teaching technique and see it being implemented. I also enjoy the staff team events, whether it is taking a boat on the beautiful Swiss Lakes, or Latin dance class – everyone joins in and that’s why ISCS feels like one big family.

I learned that communicating your thoughts with others and respecting theirs took you even further … I learned that rising above differences only made me see clearer. I learned how to bring up my own children using the same values. Today, I own an establishment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia which focuses on preserving the history of the old town.
