Parent and Student Reviews
- October, 2024We have been a part of the school-community for some months now, but it feels as if it was always meant to be.To be admitted to the school was a matter of days, Mrs. Jol was extremely helpful, so welcoming and straightforward to organize a trial day and all necessary tests for the very next morning. We as parents felt embraced and free of worries immediately, while we were shown around the premises. Everything is new and nice and very well equipped. Our daughter (9th grade) had the support she needed from day one, after one week she had a sense of belonging, found new friends and interesting challenges. The teachers seem to be aware of the needs of every single one of their pupils and the curriculum is demanding but manageable, because there is time for questions and for rehearsal. We highly recommend the ISHR to families that are interested in an excellent education, combined with international openness and a friendly and safe environment.Show more
- This school has exposed my child to vaping, edibles, mobbing and many horrible things for an 8th grader within 1 year who came from a China controlled British school (dulwich) environment. They are focus on tuition and not academic progress. My child was placed in the wrong level and even after raising this issue nothing. The headmaster is rude and does not answer unless she wants to. I would not send any child to this school which is asking too much but is not worth the money you spend on your child’s education! Really bad!Show more

My children leave for school every morning eager to learn and challenge themselves.Show more - December, 2023Reflecting your own work and learning from your mistakes is the greatest skill students can learn so early in life, at school. This skill combined with everything else they learn helps them grow into young, open minded people with self-esteem, self-respect and respect for others.Show more
- December, 2023Dedicated and motivated ISH teachers provide the growth mindset to even the youngest children. They create a safe and calm atmosphere where my children enjoy learning and challenging themselves to succeed. Social responsibility and respectful interaction are just as much a part of learning at ISH as the curricula which is accredited according to global best practices in education.Show more
- December, 2023The International curricula, the MYP and the IB programmes, prepared my children well for their next educational challenges at university. Learning the different steps of essay writing or designing a project, reflecting their progress and learning from their mistakes formed their self-motivated work ethics for their studies at university.Show more
- February, 2023We’ve been fortunate to have had the chance to send our 3 children to the Frankfurt International School Wiesbaden (FISW) campus over the last 5 years. Their growth as not only students, but citizens of this planet, has grown exponentially, and has trickled down to my wife and I – community thrives and strives for greatness at FISW. Wherever this journey takes us, FISW will be the barometer at which we look at other schools in the future.Show more

- February, 2023The first word that comes to mind when I think of FIS is family. The warm welcome we received when we first moved to the area made us feel instantly at home and comfortable in our new location. FIS exceeded our expectations, providing excellent education for our daughter and wonderful opportunities for parents to make new connections through numerous activities and events organised by FIS. The school continues to impress with their leadership during the pandemic when students were able to continue their education seamlessly through the Distance Learning Program within days of going into lock-down. The faculty and staff at FIS have done an outstanding job of keeping the community safe during these challenging times. We feel so fortunate to be part of FIS and its parent community.Show more
- February, 2023I hear really great stories from our kids how they experience these distance learning. Really big thumbs up how you and your team are handling this. The teachers are amazing. I think we are very fortunate to have our kids at the BIS!Show more
