Academics
BIS offers three continuous programmes within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, beginning with Early Learning (age 3) and continuing through Grade 12.
Why Choose the IB?
The IB framework equips students with future-ready skills and mindsets, while maintaining academic rigour and fostering real-world connections. Its focus on compassionate, culturally aware, and well-rounded learners ensures a strong foundation for personal growth and global citizenship.
The IB also provides a globally recognized and valued qualification, the IB Diploma, facilitating university admission worldwide.
Our Approach
At BIS, we focus on a few core principles that shape all aspects of learning and decision-making:
Voice: Students’ ideas, opinions, and expertise are valued. By amplifying their voices, we cultivate leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Choice: Students explore their interests through diverse opportunities, guided by teachers who coach them to identify and pursue their strengths.
Ownership: Students take an active role in their education, fostering responsibility, goal-setting, and participatory learning.
Future-Ready Skills: We emphasize critical thinking, collaboration, resilience, agility, entrepreneurship, and communication—key competencies for success in a dynamic world.
Diversity: With a community spanning over 80 nations, we celebrate cultural richness and diverse perspectives, enabling students to see the world through others’ eyes.
Rooted in these principles, we deliver a student-centred education that balances innovation with timeless values, preparing learners to thrive in a global and ever-changing environment.
