Founded in 2012, we are the sister school of Branksome Hall Canada, an independent girls’ school in Toronto founded in 1903. We are an International Baccalaureate World School that offers the academically rigorous and challenging Diploma Program, Middle Years Program, and the Primary Years Program.
Our international girls day and boarding school is located on the beautiful island of Jeju, South Korea. The island is known for its scenic beaches, green countryside and, UNESCO World Heritage sites.
We are committed to empowering girls and shaping a better world. This is why our program is focused on reinforcing the development of confidence and leadership skills. Our extensive student leadership program and a large number of student-led organizations ensure that our learners have the opportunity to build their confidence and find their voice. When girls are empowered, they lead more meaningful lives. A girl’s education influences her financial security, health, higher education, economic participation, political empowerment, and global innovation.
Our students grow as globally-minded learners and leaders, prepared for the challenges and opportunities they will meet in a rapidly changing interdependent world. At Branksome Hall Asia, girls take center stage as they learn and grow.
From Junior Kindergarten Prep to Grade 12, our students share their learning and living in a state-of-the-art world-class facility that embodies our values and encourages intellectual inquiry, collaboration, effective communication, and strength of character. The exceptional Branksome Hall Asia faculty are experts in their field and dedicated to the highest levels of learning and professional development.
“Our mission is to challenge and inspire girls to love learning and to shape a better world.”
Our educational journey promises to support all students to discover within themselves a strong voice, to take risks and step outside their comfort zones, and to lead lives of curiosity, empowerment, service to others, and personal fulfillment.
The goal of our University Counseling program is for each graduate to be accepted into her university and program of first choice, and to succeed and thrive at university. University Counselors and Faculty Advisors work closely with our students and their families from the early stages of educational planning through to graduation.
The advisory program curriculum is implemented throughout the year to ensure that our girls have support with topics such as digital citizenship, cultural competency, organizational skills, and social and emotional wellness. Each Middle and Senior School student is assigned an advisor in a group of ten, who checks in with her daily and is the point of contact for teachers. Peer mentor/mentee programs are in place to provide peer support for students as they transition throughout grades.
In addition, FLEX is a time built into the schedule when students have individual access to their academic teachers. Reading programs, writing support programs, and math programs are in place. Librarians work closely with students to provide high-interest reading materials in both English and the students’ mother tongue languages.
We implement a comprehensive counseling program to support our girls through the critical developmental stages of childhood through adolescence. Our counselors are trained in child development, learning strategies, self-management, and social skills; they understand and promote student success. The comprehensive program teaches knowledge, attitudes, and skills. These skills form the foundation for a successful future, for our girls, in their academics, careers, and social and emotional development.

At Branksome, I can experience a variety of co-curricular activities and challenge myself. Also, since there are many great resources and facilities, I can branch out to different subjects to increase my level of understanding.
My daughter came in Grade1 and now she is in Grade 5. Learning is an enjoyable experience for her!
This is a pre-eminent independent IB international school for girls which values students' mother-tongue language learning and develop women’s international leadership skills. It provides global education with world best educational facilities and teachers.
BHA, a school vibrating with teachers’ passion and students’ happiness!
Regardless of long commuting distance, the last thing my daughter wants to hear is that “There is no school today.”
BHA facility is impressive but seeing students live and learn in this facility is more impressive. Classrooms, library, theater, swimming pool, cafeteria, playground, broadcasting studio and gym to name a few are tailored to provide the best learning space for the students.
The school teaches that learning English is not the end goal but it is a mean to understanding issues, do research and communicate with others. This in turn reduces burden of learning English as a new language and makes her become naturally bilingual through communication and critical thinking
For the past 3 years I have been watching my daughter study and I am very satisfied with BHA Junior School. The curriculum and the facilities are especially outstanding. As my daughter goes through the PYP program, not only she is learning skills and knowledges but growing to ask critical questions related to the world
