Academics
Middle school students work at their own pace in a mastery-based curriculum accentuating the student-parent-teacher partnership. High school students engage in NCAA-approved university preparatory coursework, including 23 Advanced Placement classes and a university dual-enrollment option. Students in grades 7-12 can enroll in the Scholars Academy, where they design interest-based, interdisciplinary projects meant to enhance critical thinking and reasoning, problem-solving, and communication and interpersonal skills important for their future education and career.
Extra curricular
U-Tech Prep students build connections through clubs, guest speakers, digital competitions, and more in live experiences hosted by their mentor teachers and other U-Tech Prep community members.
Boarding
Students can also arrange for short-term or long-term study abroad opportunities through U-Tech Prep Academy. During these opportunities, they attend U-Tech’s umbrella school, Jenison Innovation Academy (JIA), in person and stay with a vetted JIA family.
