At Questfield School, families have the option to choose between the Romanian and International lines of study, spanning Kindergarten, Primary, Middle School, and with the High School set to open in 2024. The International Line follows the British Curriculum infused with Cambridge elements, progressing to IGCSE and A-Levels in High School. Concurrently, the High School will offer an innovative approach to the Romanian curriculum for the National Line, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive education. Questfield values individual progress as the benchmark for academic success, achieved through regular assessments and feedback, and nurtures Student Leadership through diverse roles and activities. The school promotes student engagement and responsibility through student-led conferences, the Big Brother programme, student-coordinated assemblies, and a culture of community care. Additionally, the Service Learning program integrates classroom learning with real-world issues, cultivating civic engagement and social responsibility.

Questfield School strongly advocates for learning beyond the classroom. As part of our mission to foster holistic development, stimulate intellectual curiosity, promote physical health, and cultivate emotional well-being, the school offers an extensive range of enrichment activities alongside its academic curriculum. These enrichment offerings strive to meet diverse student interests, providing on-site options to minimize the need for parents to commute to various activities. Such clubs include Krav Maga, Chess, Robotics, Video & Content Creator, Science, Drama, Debate, MUN, Modern Dance, Ballet, Basketball, Fencing, and Cooking, to name a few.
A notable addition to the Questfield’s Enrichment Programme is the “Bucharest as a Textbook” initiative. This program bridges academic objectives with engaging outings and visits in or around Bucharest, turning the city’s history, culture, and community into a living, breathing textbook. By connecting academic learning to real-world contexts and exposing students to the city’s socio-economic, historical, and ecological dynamics, this program enhances learning experiences. It blends history, social studies, environmental science, and arts, fostering curiosity and understanding. The school plans to develop and expand this programme in the future, promising even more immersive and educational experiences for students.
Adding to this, Questfield introduced the Questfield Bank project, enabling students to grasp banking principles and invest credits in service learning projects. Furthermore, the school is proud to be an Award Centre for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award programme and a Junior Duke Centre for students under 14, showcasing its commitment to multifaceted learning experiences.
The Enrichment Programme is thoughtfully designed around Questfield’s four educational pillars: Academics, Leadership, Service Learning, and Welfare. Clubs like Chess, Robotics, Science, Debate, and the Ken Business Academy stimulate intellectual growth and offer practical learning experiences under the Academics pillar. Leadership skills are honed in clubs like the Video & Content Creator Club and the Debate Club. The Service Learning pillar is upheld by activities such as the Cooking Club, which fosters community service, teamwork, and empathy. The Welfare pillar is represented by clubs like the Mindfulness Club, Modern Dance, Ballet, Wellbeing Club, and other sports activities, which prioritize physical health and emotional well-being. The importance of creative arts is also recognized, with clubs such as Digital Arts, Visual Arts, Embroidery, and Creative Thinking Games offered.

The Health & Safety Department at Questfield is committed to ensuring the physical well-being of all students, staff, and visitors. We provide a safe and healthy environment by implementing and maintaining policies and procedures that promote safety, health, and hygiene. Our department is staffed by a permanent nurse and a pediatrician once per week, and our teaching staff undergoes periodic First Aid training to ensure they are prepared to respond in case of emergency. Our goal is to create a school community that is safe, healthy, and able to thrive.
