The unique approach to learning, where academic learning is playfully integrated into other aspects of everyday life, helped me both incredibly enjoy my time at Brookes and become the driven, passionate and curious person I am today.
The IB was the best thing I could have ever done to prepare me for university. It was because of IB that I was able to skip first year and university and go straight onto second. It teaches you the necessary lessons that most students won’t learn before university.
The staff and students are so inclusive that Brookes feels like a home away from home. Not only did they help me regain my confidence in subjects I used to be afraid of, they always made sure I maintained a good work-life balance while doing so.
Brookes Westshore’s greatest assets were the small class sizes, enriching summer programs, and caring teachers that have continued to support me since I’ve graduated.
The International Baccalaureate pushes you to grow into a well-rounded person. I always had people who believed in me and wanted me to succeed… the people at school were so friendly and open.
