A focus on Performing Arts
At Beau Soleil they are passionate about performing arts. Creative arts, music, dance and drama play a crucial role in enabling our students to develop into intelligent, confident and well-rounded global citizens. In order to deliver the best education to our students, Beau Soleil collaborates with The Juilliard School, a world leader in performing arts education, through an educational programme designed specifically for Nord Anglia Education. Creating, interpreting and improvising are at the core of the Performing Arts Programme. Every experience in the classroom, studio or the theatre teaches students to act independently and use their bodies to create and innovate in the moment.
Several times a year, Beau Soleil has the opportunity to welcome Juilliard specialists, who mentor Beau Soleil’s staff and give workshops to its students. This week Beau Soleil has the pleasure of welcoming the Juilliard Dance specialist Laura Careless, a UK-born performing artist working with dance and movement. Her prestigious background has led her to become a leader on the New York dance scene and a coach and choreographer at The Juilliard School.
