- September, 2025Karl and I just wish we have discovered your school much earlier. We would like to reiterate from parents who have sent our daughter to a private school all her life, Elea High has given her the most valuable and enriched environment to study. The first thing Grace has mentioned to us is how all the teachers spoke to her like an adult with respect instead of treating her like a little child. This made her feel she is worthy and made her feel comfortable in engaging. This is something she said she never experienced in her old school! Private schools may have all the fancy facilities and traditional values but what your school offered is what’s important in school life – respect and the right environment!
- My daughter transferred to the US Performance Academy her Junior year for the flexibility and support it offered. She is a prospective D1 athlete and needed a high school where she could customize her academics around her training and competition schedule. We found her teachers, learning coach and college counselor to all be exceptional. They were always available when she needed them. They consistently went above and beyond for her. In addition since my daughter has dyslexia, the support she received for her accommodations through their GOAL program was outstanding. USPA was the only private online school we found which offered support for her dyslexia.
- My kids and I couldn’t be happier with USPA! Both my kids started USPA in middle school and have thrived. The ability for them to have their own individual schedules has been a life-saver with their hockey schedules. In addition, my daughter is enrolled in their amazing GOAL Program and receives an abundance of academic and other resources. Seeing her demonstrate her learning in creative means, on her own, is so fulfilling. - We are so thankful for USPA! My oldest is finishing his 3rd year with USPA. My youngest is in the goal program for neurodivergent learners and we are beyond happy about it! Pascale and Carrie are two of the sweetest people/teachers we have ever had! My son is learning more than in a public school classroom and his confidence has soared! Adam and Chris are also two teachers that have really reached my boys. Both my boys have had the privilege of having them and both of their experiences have been wonderful! The communication between student and teacher is far better than we have ever had in a public school system! Our family is very thankful!
- We could not be happier with our experience at USPA, especially the GOALS program. They took the time to understand our son’s academic abilities and recognize his intelligence and capacity. Ms. Yerbury is an amazing teacher, she is always patient, organised. Her lessons made complicated topics lot more manageable;) - What impresses me most about Elea High is the school’s attentiveness to the individual needs of the student. From my first meeting with David and Catherine Lewis (the principal and director respectively) it was clear that the well being of their students was their primary concern. My daughter has now been with the school for almost a year and whenever I have any concerns about her progress or need to share information about events at home which may be affecting her ability to participate in her lessons, David and Catherine are always available to listen and accommodate her needs as best as possible.My daughter is neurodivergent and unable to access mainstream education, however her confidence has grown enormously since studying at Elea High. Small class sizes ensure she is able to ask questions when she needs to and she feels accepted and valued by her teachers and fellow students alike. I cannot emphasise enough how grateful I am to Elea High for there respectful and open minded approach to education.
- April, 2025Being part of the Gravitas community has been profoundly life-changing. The academics heavily focus on reading, writing, and most importantly, the ability to think critically and immersively. From Humanities to English, from philosophy to ethics, the discussion-based classes encourage us to think for ourselves. Gravitas is truly different from other schools, as we learn not only what the authors think, but also how we reason and apply that knowledge to universal truths. Furthermore, Gravitas offers a range of math classes, from Algebra to Multivariable Calculus. The community spirit is high all the time. We connect each Monday at Chapel, participate in House challenges, and attend low-stress minicourses to relax and recharge. The teachers are truly professional and passionate in what they do, and I really appreciate their support of my interests and passions. Overall, Gravitas is not just an amazing college-prep school. It’s also a place to discover and apply universal truths.
