We are delighted to announce that St. Joseph’s Institution International IB Diploma Programme graduates have once again performed well above the global average, as confirmed by the examination results released by the IB. Highlights of the Class of 2023 include:
- 209 students entered for the Diploma achieved the full award, with an average of 36.7 points, significantly above the world average.
- A remarkable 33% of students achieved 40 points or more.
- Additionally, 16% of our 2023 cohort achieved 42 points or more.

- Alexis Chua – Tennis Prodigy on the Global Stage
Alexis, a tennis standout, has not only secured an impressive position within the top 20 in the Singapore open age category but has soared as high as #2. Her remarkable achievements extend internationally as she proudly represented the Singapore Women’s team in prestigious competitions such as the Billie Jean King Cup and the South East Asian Games, showcasing her prowess and dedication on the global tennis stage. Alexis achieved 41 points achieved in the IB Diploma Programme.
- Joshua Khoo – Tennis Prodigy and Champion
Joshua, a tennis prodigy, rose to the pinnacle of success by securing the coveted rank of #1 in Singapore within his age category. In 2022, his exceptional prowess was on full display as he clinched the titles of STA Pesta Sukan Intermediate Singles Champion and Singapore Advanced Men’s Champion, solidifying his status as a true champion on the tennis court. Joshua achieved 38 points in the IB Diploma Programme.
- Sidhanth Srikanth – Cricket Prodigy and Record Setter
Sidhanth, a standout in U19 cricket, achieved historic success by becoming the highest U19 run-scorer for Singapore to date, notably scoring 260 runs in the Cricket U19 Division 1 tournament in Dubai (Feb-Mar 2023). His exceptional skills, including a record-breaking 162-run partnership and multiple Man of the Match awards, played a pivotal role in Singapore’s victories and secured the team’s promotion to Division A in international cricket—an outstanding accomplishment for Sidhanth and the entire team. Sidhanth achieved 30 points in the IB Diploma Programme.
