The Prime School International follows an International Curriculum that includes IGCSEs and A Levels with specialisation, providing students with a solid academic foundation and preparing them for higher education and professional success. As one of the first schools in Portugal to receive the Cambridge Curriculum certificate, alongside the teaching equivalence granted by the Portuguese Ministry of Education, Prime School has built a long-standing tradition of educational excellence.
Since 2006, the school has been committed to this curriculum, which is widely recognised for its international prestige and student-centred approach. The curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and academic excellence while promoting global citizenship. With a maximum of 15 students per class, the learning environment at Prime School is personalised and collaborative, allowing for greater attention to individual development. Boarding
At Prime School, we offer Prime Boarding for students from the age of 13, providing a home away from home experience. Our boarding facilities offer a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for students.
Students at Prime Boarding are encouraged to make the most of their free time by creating their own activities. They can enjoy a range of leisure options such as reading, board games, sports, and constructive educational visits. Additionally, they have the privilege of sailing on certain weekends or during holiday periods, arranged in collaboration with parents and school management.
As the first international school in the area to offer a boarding option, Prime Boarding gives students the opportunity to explore their interests and personal growth in a supportive, structured environment. Here, students are empowered to express themselves and are trusted to make responsible decisions, helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
