Academics
We offer a bilingual curriculum from the Early Learning School years until Grade 4, with the option to pursue a new English stream from Grade 1. From Grade 5, we offer the Cambridge curriculum (including the IGCSE for Grades 9 and 10), and finally, the internationally acclaimed IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their future endeavours.
Our Curriculum is demanding, innovative and dynamic, always searching for the world’s best practices and implementing the ones that best fit our students and their objectives, in all areas of their lives.
The school has an excellent Technology Programme, and its integration in every area of the curriculum is one of PaRK IS’ strengths – students and teachers are comfortable using it in teaching and learning in every situation.
At our school, on top of a very comprehensive Physical Education Programme, we offer our students a wide range of sporting and physical activities in an international environment (from in-house events such as Sports Day or Houses events to competing with other international schools), as these contribute to the development of their personality and to enrich their learning experience. In addition, we have an Inspired Sports Programme for student-athletes. This programme offers an individualised education for students from Grade 5 to Grade 12, whilst incorporating sports into their academic progress and school life. Students can dedicate themselves to their sport of choice, during the school timetable.
Finally, for a well-rounded education, our Creative and Performing Arts Programme is just another tool to help our students express their ideas and emotions, and so they have Arts, Drama and Music lessons as part of their curriculum.
Extra curricular
Several extracurricular activities are available after school for the convenience of parents and the entertainment of children and teenagers. Through these activities, students have the opportunity to develop their interests in various areas while becoming more well-rounded individuals.
For the current school year, we offer a diverse range of activities, including Visual Arts, Dance (including Ballet, Hip Hop), PaRK Music Academy (Individual Singing, Choir, Music Production, Instruments – Violin, Piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Cello), Martial Arts (Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Taekwondo), Team Sports (Basketball, Football, Volleyball), Individual Sports (Fencing, Tennis, Swimming, Padel, Skating, Roller-skating, Surfing, Fitbox, Fitness Club, Gymnastics), Aloha (Maths), Technology (The Inventors, Minecraft, Coding), Chess, Why Lab (Science), Sewing, Drama, Musical Theatre, Study Room, Catechism, and French.
