Overview
Ecolint, the world’s first international school, was founded after WWI in 1924 by visionaries with a bold mission: to create a school dedicated to peace. Our unwavering commitment to this vision celebrates the equal value of every human being and fosters friendships among young scholars from over 143 different nationalities. At Ecolint, we strive to uncover and nurture the unique gifts in every child, helping them transform these gifts into talents. Our alumni, extraordinary individuals who have made significant impacts globally, are a testament to the life-changing experience offered at Ecolint.
Ecolint is the birthplace of the Model United Nations system, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and most recently, in collaboration with UNESCO, the Ecolint Learner Passport. This innovative passport celebrates the comprehensive learning experience of students, recognizing competencies across lifelong learning, self-agency, collaboration, and transdisciplinarity.
With exceptional academic results and a dedicated, highly qualified faculty, we are committed to each student’s learning journey, ensuring they thrive in a world that increasingly values inclusion, sustainability, and peace.

Scholarships & Financial Aid
Ecolint’s Scholarship Programme makes its world‑class international education accessible to talented students in Years 10‑12 who lack the financial means, covering not only tuition but also exam fees, transportation, learning materials, and more to ensure each scholar can fully engage and thrive.
Extra-curricular Activities
Ecolint’s extra-curricular programme nurtures students’ potential through four main pillars: ENCORE Performing Arts (dance, drama, LAMDA, shows), Music School (lessons, theory, ensembles, concerts), Sports (recreational and competitive activities, Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, ski team, and SPORTS+ for elite athletes), and Culture & Leisure (visual arts, STEM projects, chess, film, and more). The World Languages Programme further supports students in developing their home language or learning new ones.
Facilities
Located in Geneva on beautifully wooded grounds, the La Grande Boissière campus blends historic architecture (including an 18th‑century château) with modern facilities such as a state‑of‑the‑art Centre des arts and a dedicated STEM Centre. It offers well‑equipped libraries, media centres, specialist ICT facilities, assembly halls and recreational areas tailored to different age‑groups. Sports amenities include a new Centre sportif and outdoor fields in its urban‑forest setting.
Set in the countryside near Founex (Canton of Vaud), La Châtaigneraie enjoys scenic views of the Alps and Lake Léman. The campus features a mix of historic and modern buildings with specialist classrooms, two multimedia and library centres, an auditorium, music studio and theatre. For sport and recreation it offers a full sports complex (including all‑weather football pitch and basketball court), cafeterias and green outdoor spaces.
Located in Geneva’s international quarter, Campus des Nations consists of two sites: Pregny (Pre‑Reception to Year 3) and Saconnex (Years 4 to 13). The Saconnex site offers modern, purpose‑built facilities including bright classrooms, dedicated performing‑arts spaces, a large sports hall, outdoor all‑weather courts and a welcoming cafeteria. The Pregny site provides a more natural environment for younger learners.
