iBOS Curriculum Overview
The International British Online School (iBOS) offers a comprehensive British curriculum, designed to provide a rigorous and well-rounded education from Primary through Sixth Form. Our curriculum is carefully structured to nurture academic excellence, personal growth, and global citizenship.
Primary Curriculum (Key Stages 1 & 2):
Our primary program focuses on building a strong foundation in English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities, alongside creative subjects like Art, Music, and Physical Education. We emphasise critical thinking, literacy, and numeracy skills while fostering curiosity and a love for learning.
Secondary Curriculum (Key Stages 3 & 4):
In secondary education, students engage in a broad range of subjects, including English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Humanities (History, Geography), and Languages (French, Spanish). The curriculum is enriched with ICT, Art, Music, and Physical Education.
At Key Stage 4, students prepare for their International GCSE (iGCSE) examinations, selecting from a wide range of subjects to tailor their learning to their interests and career aspirations. We support all our students with exam entries and hosting as an exam centre.
Sixth Form (Key Stage 5):
Our Sixth Form offers International A Levels (iALs), recognised globally for university entry. Students can choose from a diverse range of subjects, including Sciences, Mathematics, English, Humanities, Languages, and Business Studies.
We support students with personalised learning plans, focusing on university preparation (UCAS), entry exams for Oxbridge and Medicine (UCAT), critical thinking, and independent research skills. Our Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) encourages students to explore topics in-depth, further enhancing their academic portfolio. We also have a bespoke Careers and Work-Related Learning programme.
Extra curricular
Enrichment and Extracurricular Activities:
