Greengates is a leading British international school in Mexico, teaching more than 1,000 K-12 students with lessons in English and Spanish. It offers the IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum) in Early Years, the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) in the Primary School, and the IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme in its Secondary School.The school, located in Naucalpan in the northern part of Mexico City, has an impressive reputation for its strong academic performance with its average International Baccalaureate score in 2021 being 36.4 (global average: 33.0).

We encourage our students to develop character, self-discipline, respect, and reflection in a challenging learning environment which honours individual differences. At Greengates we act with integrity, seeking to motivate our students to become socially responsible citizens while achieving academic excellence.

Our curriculum is based on the International Primary Curriculum, British National Curriculum at KS3, the IGCSE programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. Throughout the school, we aim to: ensure our students have a broad education; understand what it means to be international citizens; have a strong moral compass; contribute in the wider community; and have the tools, personal attributes and characteristics that will ultimately mean that they enjoy happy and successful futures.  In particular, we focus on developing key transferable skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, teamwork, communication and information literacy. In addition, we place importance on the IPC personal attributes and the IB student characteristics.

So that each child reaches their true potential, we endeavour to provide the very best possible all-round education, involving excellent teaching and pastoral care, a wide range of co-curricular opportunities and first-class facilities. This would not be possible without a team of highly qualified and diverse teachers from around the world. As a result, we achieve excellent IGCSE and IB Diploma results, which help our students secure places at top international universities, which we are very proud of.
