Academics
ESF schools follow a robust curriculum that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, and
holistic development. For primary and secondary education, ESF schools offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, including the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the IB Diploma Programme (DP). This internationally recognised curriculum is known for its rigorous academic standards and
emphasis on developing students’ intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills.
For Years 12-13, ESF schools also provide personalised pathways that allow students to focus on creative projects and inquiries and reflect on their achievements. ESF schools currently provide Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) courses which are recognised by many universities worldwide. These courses can be studied alongside other subjects and provide a varied learning experience for students.
A number of ESF schools are also developing the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IB CP) to offer opportunities for those students who have a particular career path in mind. The IB CP allows students to specialise and dedicate themselves to a career path that they know they want to pursue. The IB CP encompasses some elements of the IB Diploma Programme within its structure. It also encompasses the IB’s educational philosophy and mission.
Extra curricular
ESF understands that education is so much more than what a student learns in any lesson – it is every bit as much about what they are able to experience and how they develop as a person. In every single one of ESF schools, students have access to a host of activities, sports and clubs that will help them discover their passions.
Creativity & Culture: ESF schools provide unique opportunities for students to expand their horizons, discover new cultures, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Students develop valuable skills in leadership and resilience through self-exploration.
Spirit of Exploration: Our adventures are designed to ignite students’ sense of curiosity and exploration. From outdoor expeditions to indoor workshops, there is something for everyone. Discover new interests, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories.
Sports: ESF schools provide an exciting range of sports teams, giving students numerous chances to engage in thrilling inter-school programs.
