BFIS offers a differentiated American curriculum from Nursery to Grade 10 and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program in Grades 11 and 12. We are a truly international school in Barcelona with a roughly one-third breakdown among US, International and Spanish families. Our diverse and engaged student body, faculty, and parent community-now comprised over 50 different nationalities and cultural heritages. is the heart and soul of our school.Our staff also comes from different countries and bring a rich diversity of knowledge and experiences to the classroom, helping our students to appreciate and understand differences, as well as develop an open-minded perspective to create a more tolerant and respectful society. At BFIS we embrace our diversity as a source of pride and strength and consider it an essential element of our identity.Instruction at BFIS is entirely in English, with language courses offered in Spanish, Catalan and French. Our graduates receive offers of acceptances from some of the most important colleges and universities worldwide.
