BISP Soccer 7s 2023 Triumphs Once Again

Girls soccer team celebrating a goal outdoors at a World Schools event.

The 2023 BISP Soccer 7s was once again an extremely successful tournament with 112 teams from Thailand, Malaysia, China, Myanmar, South Korea, Singapore, India, Philippines, and Vietnam participating in 376 games across two days, scoring 1,190 goals with an average of three goals per match.

The BISP campus buzzed with excitement on the 24th and 25th of November as young players from the region gathered for two full days of football, food, musical and aerial performances, VR games and most importantly, fun, joy and sportsmanship. The Soccer 7s tournament was the first tournament for many teams and players, and their reviews were overwhelmingly positive as the BISP community came together to show what it is capable of delivering. The tournament was fortunate to have good weather for much of the event, and thus an overall enjoyable experience for players and supporters alike.
