Here at LAS, we believe that travel broadens the mind, and we love seeing our students explore different countries and cultures and continue their goal of becoming citizens of the world! We offer a variety of trips each year, from city exploration and cultural immersion to adventure programs and ski trips. Students really do have the whole of Europe at their fingertips when they come to live in Leysin, and we are so excited about the travel opportunities that we are offering in the upcoming school year.
Throughout each year, students have had the opportunity to explore places like France, Italy, Morocco, and Zimbabwe. Students are also encouraged to practice their skiing and snowboarding skills not only in Leysin but also at some world-renowned ski resorts such as Saas-Fee and Zermatt. Nestled amidst the stunning Alpine scenery, Saas-Fee provides an ideal setting for snowsports, and in addition to this, students also love skiing at Zermatt, where they can experience the amazing slopes in the shadow of the famous Matterhorn peak!
From iconic landmarks to delicious cuisine, LAS weekend city breaks offer students a chance to broaden their horizons beyond the classroom! The travel program at LAS encourages a global perspective, fostering cultural understanding and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We are really excited to announce that next year there will be a total of 42 trips offered, from weekend excursions and service trips to spring break adventures and city explorations! There are endless opportunities for LAS students to learn about the world while having fun!
We love that our students have the opportunity to travel not only within Switzerland but across Europe and the globe! During their time at LAS, students not only learn in the classroom but become intrepid travelers, ski enthusiasts, and citizens of the world.
