The annual university fair at SSIS provides students with a platform to explore a variety of educational paths. We were thrilled last Friday to welcome over 100 colleges and universities to our campus. This event offered an excellent opportunity to become more informed about options for higher education.
These visits are incredibly beneficial for our students, connecting them with representatives from colleges and universities worldwide. They allow students to practice professional interactions, ask unique questions, and learn about schools and programs they may not have previously considered. It’s a perfect chance for students to meet with university representatives face-to-face, making a great first impression. Admissions officers and university representatives were on hand to provide guidance on admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and campus life.
At SSIS, our unique and individualized College Counselling programme gives students the skills they need to enter the different phases of research and the decision-making process when applying for Colleges and Universities. Scheduled time with their College Counsellor uncovers a student’s genuine passions and helps them make informed choices and take control of their application process to find the “best fit” for them.
This year, over 150 universities, including those at the SSIS World University Fair, have visited SSIS, with more visits scheduled in the coming months. This ensures our students have a wide range of options to explore.
We encourage our students to seize these opportunities. They are more than just academic engagements; they are stepping stones towards their future, shaping their academic journey, and potentially, their career path. We are committed to supporting our students every step of the way and eagerly anticipate where these opportunities will lead them.
