Academics
At POWIIS, we provide students with a range of challenging and enjoyable opportunities to develop a deep understanding. High-quality learning comes about through meaningful, rigorous, and authentic experiences where the learner is guided and encouraged to be confident, reflective, and dedicated.
Extra curricular
Our Extra Curricula Activities (ECA) take place after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. There are a wide range of complimentary ECAs, so there is always an activity to get involved in, whether it be crochet, football, debating, or cycling. The options available are sent out at the start of each term, and sign-ups take place through our Epraise system.
Boarding
Students who live in our boarding halls have access to the best that POWIIS offers, both in and out of school. Modern living facilities provide students with a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment in which they can learn and grow as individuals and as members of our wider boarding community. In addition, living on site provides students with access to our excellent athletic facilities, library, and arts spaces during the evenings and at weekends.
