American International School of Guangzhou

Founded in 1981, The American International School of Guangzhou is an independent, non-profit, multicultural, and co-educational day school for foreign children from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. It is located in Guangzhou, China, with an Elementary School campus on ErSha Island, Yuexiu District and a Secondary School campus in Science Park, Huangpu District. As the oldest and longest established non-profit international school, it is widely considered the premier international school in Guangzhou and the preferred choice for foreign families in South China.

AISG is an International Baccalaureate® World School that offers the PYP, MYP, and DP. AISG follows the American Education Reaches Out (AERO), Common Core, and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These standards help to guide the curriculum in all phases and allow for a program that is tailored to the specific context and learners at AISG. AISG is a member of EARCOS and ACAMIS as well as other organizations that support the school to deliver its mission.

AISG enrolls over 1,000 international students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 and our student body demographics reflect our international environment with over 40 nationalities.
