For many international school staff, the Covid-19 pandemic has imposed a far longer separation from their families, friends and home country than they’d ever expected. The lockdowns and travel restrictions of 2020/21 have called for people across the world to spend much more concentrated time in one place, focusing on their immediate surroundings.
Our global body of teachers has been lucky in many ways, as the Rugby School Thailand campus has offered 80-acres of space for them to call home during times when they haven’t been able to travel freely. So, as we entered our second period of lockdown in January 2021, we asked different staff members what made the School feel most like home for them. The result was a beautiful video – Our Place – where the community highlight the areas and activities at Rugby School Thailand that offer them the most comfort, escapism and inspiration.
