Innovation and social responsibility have taken center stage as students from The British School of Córdoba were recently recognized at a prestigious entrepreneurship program. Their project, titled “Glacies”, was awarded a Special Mention for the Best Social Impact Project during the V edition of the “Ideas Loyola” contest, a distinction that highlights their commitment to creating solutions aimed at making a tangible difference in society.
The talented team behind “Glacies”, formed by students Haieqa Nadeem, Roberta Carlota, Konstantin Uvarov, and Valentina Monfrina, stood out among 157 participants and 73 innovative projects from 11 different educational centers. This edition of the contest was a collaborative effort organized by the Universidad Loyola, IMDEEC, and the ONG Entreculturas, challenging young entrepreneurs to think beyond traditional academic boundaries and focus on sustainability, ethics, and global justice.
The panel of experts was particularly impressed by how the team addressed real-world challenges with a human-centered approach, proving that the next generation is deeply concerned with the future of our planet.
