St. Joseph’s Institution International (SJI International) is pleased to share the IGCSE results of the Class of 2025, reflecting a cohort that embraced academic breadth, challenge and high expectations across a carefully structured programme of study.

Guided by the school’s vision To Learn, Inspire and Serve, SJI International is committed to developing learners of character who are academically prepared, intellectually curious and ready to thrive in the next stage of their educational journey.

The Class of 2025 comprised 214 students, completing a total of 1,917 IGCSE entries across Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Oxford AQA and Pearson Edexcel. All students completed an expanded academic programme, undertaking 10 IGCSE subjects, reflecting the school’s deliberate emphasis on breadth, balance and intellectual challenge.

Across all examination boards, students achieved consistently strong outcomes:

  • 70.1% of all grades were awarded at A-A* or Grades 7-9*
  • 97.8% of all grades were strong passes at A*-C or Grades 9-4*

These results reflect the strength and consistency of teaching and learning at SJI International across a broad range of subjects and assessment models.

Mr Bradley Bird, High School Principal, commended the cohort’s approach to learning:

‘We are extremely proud of the Class of 2025 and the ambition they brought to their IGCSE studies. Taking on a broad ten-subject programme requires commitment, curiosity and confidence, and this cohort rose to that challenge with maturity and purpose. Their results reflect not only strong academic achievement, but the depth of learning that comes from embracing breadth.’

Beyond academic achievement, SJI International places equal importance on character formation, service learning and holistic development. Throughout their IGCSE years, students in the Class of 2025 contributed actively to the life of the school through leadership, co-curricular involvement and service initiatives, living out the values that define the SJI International community.

The IGCSE programme plays a key role in preparing students for the demands of the IB Diploma Programme. The breadth, academic discipline and study habits developed during the IGCSE years provide a strong platform for senior study. The Class of 2025’s IGCSE outcomes sit alongside their strong performance in the IB Diploma Programme, reflecting a coherent and carefully structured academic journey from Grades 7 to 12 at SJI International.
