Smiling International School is een “Scuola Paritaria” in Ferrara: we onderwijzen het Italiaanse ministeriële curriculum in het Engels door middel van moderne, interdisciplinaire lesmethoden.
Onze leraren bereiden leerlingen (6-18 jaar) voor op CEFR-certificering (Common European Framework of Reference for Language) in het Engels (Cambridge), Spaans (DELE) en Chinees (HSK) als integraal onderdeel van de verschillende curricula.
Smiling International School biedt twee middelbare school trajecten aan:
– de 4-jarige Linguistic High School, die taalstudies combineert met actuele vakken zoals Business, Critical Thinking, Wiskunde en Natuurkunde;
– de 4-jarige High School of Technology, de nieuwe grens voor zeer gespecialiseerde studies in technologie, computerwetenschappen en STEM-vakken.
Smiling International School biedt ook het IB Diploma Programma aan.
Buitenschools
Smiling International School offers the opportunity for extra-curricular activities within both campuses at the end of the school day.
Every year, we try to give our students the opportunity to pursue their passions from the comfort of school at the end of their classes!
Basketball and Mini Basketball classes, Sports Dance, Digital Painting and Yoga are some of the many activities offered each year.
Boarding
Onze studenten (minimaal 14 jaar oud) kunnen accommodatie aanvragen in ons internaat op de Roversella campus. Smiling International School biedt een veilige ruimte voor studenten, die onder toezicht staan van onze aangewezen mentor.

Boarding students applying for the IB Diploma Programme may be eligible for a partial scholarship covering up to 15% of the tuition fee. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of the student's motivation as demonstrated in a one-to-one interview with the Programme Coordinator and on the basis of the student's last two years' school reports.
